A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRUCK DRIVER - CLASS A CDL

In this truck driving position, you play an essential role in making sure commodities are delivered to their required destination. You are responsible for operating a 53-foot tractor-trailer while abiding by all safety rules and regulations. Upon receiving an assignment, you head out on the road to transport materials wherever they need to be. If you are delivering palletized freight, you assist with unloading your tractor-trailer at the end destination. You ensure that the commodities always arrive in pristine condition and that the services you provide consistently exceed customer expectations. The work can sometimes be challenging, but you are always able to end your day at home feeling a sense of accomplishment. You enjoy doing important work out on the road all day, which is why you thrive in this truck driving position for our transportation company!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TRUCK DRIVER - CLASS A CDL

  • At least 21 years old.
  • Current Class A CDL driver's license.
  • 3+ months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
  • Good motor vehicle record (MVR) and stable work history.
