Imperial Trading Company is 100-year-old distribution company with a solid customer base in Oklahoma and Kansas supplying various dry goods and refrigerated-frozen foods primarily to convenience stores. You will use a hand truck via ramp to make timely and safe deliveries. We are currently seeking well motivated truck drivers who enjoy both the freedom of the open road and personal interaction with the public. Our drivers enjoy a pay scale that is very competitive within the industry and a work schedule that provides more time at home with family than many other regional trucking companies. Deliver drivers will be home at least 3 nights every week and off on Saturdays and Sundays.

Essential Duties and Requirements:

• Accurately delivering product to stores.
• Use a hand truck via ramp to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
• Providing our customers excellent service by maintaining courteous, friendly and professional attitude at all times.
• Reporting any customer issues to a supervisor so that it can be resolved quickly.
• Inspecting equipment to ensure safety and reporting any issues to a supervisor immediately.
• Total compliance with any and all Federal DOT laws.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Must be in good physical condition, with the ability to bend easily, lift and carry boxes up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write and understand invoices in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along well with others.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use proper time management and deal well with priorities.

Education and Experience:

• Possess a valid, Class A CDL w/ one (1) year of experience.
• High School Education or Equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age
• Clean Driving record with no DWI, DUI or reckless driving citations within the past 7 years.
• No more than one moving violation with the last 3 years.
