Responsibilities:

1. Drive and operate tankers. 2. Perform variety of physically demanding tasks related to management/movements of non-hazardous waste including but not limited to manually open pump lids, attaching pump hoses, lifting and moving drums of non-hazardous material. 3. 100% adherence to all safety policies and procedures. 4. Daily loading, unloading, and safely transporting non-hazardous materials and equipment. 5. Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards. 6. Interfacing and creating an Excellent Experience for our clients at the point of pick up and delivery. 7. Verify containers are properly marked and labeled. Accurately complete, review, and sign various forms such as driver logs, service and work orders, manifest and bills of lading. 8. Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/ or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines. 9. Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups. 10. Efficiently able to operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction) 11. Willing to regional runs during the week, home only on weekends. 12. Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks) 13. Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damage 14. Maintain required training, certificates and licenses to perform job functions 15. Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:

• CDL Driver must have good driving history and pass background check.
• Minimum 1 year tanker driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement
• CDL Driver must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.
• Working knowing of DOT regulations and requirements
• Ability to travel 100% Monday through Friday

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds several times a day
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor daily
• Be able to sit/drive for extended periods of time
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
• Ability to crawl, stand, bend, stoop, kneel and reach
• Ability to do repetitive motion (lifting, pulling, and loading hoses/pumping totes and drums)
